ターム2開始!

最初の課題は「自画像レリーフ」です。

この課題では、自分の顔と紙粘土で半立体で仕上げていきます。

レリーフの台座となる板に、大まかな顔の下描きをして紙粘土を盛っていきます。

 

その下描きの際に、顔のパーツ(耳や目など)の位置関係を理解するために顔のプリントに十字を書いておきます。

 

板に紙粘土をくっつけたり取ったりしながら、顔を作っていきます。

目、鼻、口といった顔のパーツは見慣れているけど作るとなると難しいですよね。

 

こちらが、今日の作品。

 

顔のバランスを取りながら制作。

顔のパーツの形に納得がいかない時は作った形を崩して、何度も挑戦しました。

 

来週は、この自画像レリーフの細部調整や着色などで仕上げていきます。

Term2 2018 has been commenced, and we had the first class with a task in which we create portrait reliefs by air-dry clay.

Drawing of a face as a draft on a wooden board had initially been done and then placing the clay to model the face based on the draft.  In this spet, the face was modelled roughly to try to shape the basic figure of the face, many details were not needed.  

 

In the underdrawing of the face on the board, a facial photo was taken to be printed out and the cross was drawn on it to understand the facial parts where these are located each other.

 

Making the face on the board, putting the clay on and off until children were satisfied with their work.

Eyes, noses and mouths that we almost every day see but the reproduction of them is not so easy. 

 

The faces modelled by the clay are shown here.

 

Maintaining a balance of facial parts through a trial and error process was achieved.

The coming week, more details of the face will be added on and the face will be painted to finish the task.
