今日から「風景画」を開始、この課題は今週と来週の2週で仕上げていきます。

この課題では、水彩画の基本的な描き方を学んでいきます。
子供たちは各自で自分が描きたい”風景写真”や”風景イラスト”を持参し、それを描きます。
持参した風景写真を画用紙に下描きしていく際”枠線”を使った拡大転写を行いました。
この拡大転写は原画となる写真と、水彩紙それぞれに縦線横線の枠を描いて、位置を特定しながた描いていくものです。
下描きも、丁寧に時間をかけて行いました。
授業後半は、水彩での着彩に移りました。
絵の最終仕上がりをイメージしながら、最初の仕事（着彩）を行うのが成功の秘訣。

Landscape painting by watercolour as the lesson has been commenced and we have learnt basic techniques of watercolour painting. It is a 2-weeks painting and it will be finalised next week.
The main aim of the lesson is to learn the basic techniques of watercolour painting.
Of course, the class is supposed to be a place to study something in a serious manner but it should be an enjoyable place.
At the beginning part of the lesson, drawing underlines for the painting was done with care. In this part, children were able to pay attention to things they needed to do for the final painting images. This was not easy because very hard to hold the final image in the first, but the children have tried to make it.
After the drawing, we moved in the next phase of Landscape painting that it was to apply watercolour as an underpainting. It does not have to be so thick or strong to be painted, so children tried to keep the lightness of watercolour paints.
I cannot wait to have look at each child’s Landscape painting but need to do that until next week’s Monday.
