2017年7月11-12日 アキヒロラボでは「木工工作ワークショップ」を開催しました。今回このワークショップでは、本格的にノコギリやトンカチを使っての木工工作（もちろん安全に配慮して）、きっと良い経験になったと思います。
このワークショップでは様々な種類の木材を用意し、それらを使って子供たちが作りたいものを形にしていきました。
その過程の中で、ノコギリを使って気を切ったり、金槌を叩いたりと大工さん顔負け！また、自分たちが使っている木材が、自然からもたらされたもので、大切に使わないといけないということも学ぶことができました。
木工工作は紙や粘土などを使った工作とは違った良さがあり、子供たちはとても楽しんで制作していましたよ。

11-12/7/2017 We had had a Woodwork Workshop and it gave an opportunity to children to use a saw and a hammer under the supervision of a teacher, which was me, for woodworking. I think that it has become a good experience for the children.
In this workshop, there was a variety of wood to be used for crafting and I discussed with each child what you want to build.
In the woodworking process, children were sawing and hammering that seemed like professional carpenters. We also learnt how these woods came from nature, therefore nature and woods that must be conserved as much as we can. Furthermore, we found some advantages and good points of woodworking which differ from other craftings such as paper as well as clay.
All children pretty much enjoyed this workshop.
