2017年7月3-4日 ホリデーワークショップ「瓶ランタン制作 (2日課題)」を行いました。できあがった瓶ランタンはどれも個性的で想像力を掻き立てられる仕上がりとなりました。
このワークショップでは、題名の通り”瓶”を使った制作なので、制作中は瓶を落とさないように気を配りながら行いました。参加した子供たちは、みんな「瓶を落としたりしないように、気を付けて作ろうね。」という僕の（アキヒロ先生の）言葉にしっかりと耳を傾けて頑張ってくれました。
子供たちは、制作の初めから最後まで、数々の工程をしっかりとこなしてくれました。また、その中で、自分が何を描いているのかや、作品をどんな風にしていきたいかなど意見を聞かせてくれました。こういった先生と生徒の意見交換が、結果に良い影響をもたらすのだと思います。

3-4 July 2017 We had a “Jar Lantern Workshop (2 days)” at Akihirolab and jar lanterns by children were created so distinctively. I guarantee that children’s jar lanterns fire your imagination.
During this workshop, we consistently handled jars with care to prevent accidents such as dropping and falling the jars down thereby I occasionally remind children about paying attention to the jars. All children listened attentively to what one should do and should not do, grab a jar with both hands and play with jars alternatively.
From beginning to end of this workshop, children took a step-by-step approach while I heard lots of their ideas and opinions how jars are to be painted and finished eventually. I feel that these conversations brought beneficial results as finalised jar lanterns.
