Portrait relief making has satisfactorily been finished.
Each relief was formed with lots of facial details.
We conducted the finishing process of the portrait relief through painting and adding extra facial details on it.
The details, such as eyes, were painted by watercolours and also modified a bit.
We paid extra attention to two pints of painting a face, the two points as follows.
- Colours for painting by mixing colours.
- Colours for painting need to be diluted.
Colours for painting by mixing colours
Mixing colours toward a colour you want to use for painting is the basic painting skills in which you are likely to find the colour closes to the colour of the object. Colour directly comes from the tube is controlled by the process of toning, a colour matching system with the base colour, it means the direct colour is the ingredient for the mixing, in which the painter blends colours and discover the colour to be applied on. Mixing colours can possibly extend the coverage of the colour.
For instance, The direct red can hardly be used for painting apples, each of which has its unique colour. Some apple is yellowish and some are greenish, and it is almost impossible to find out the exact same red colour among apples in the real world so the creating colours by mixing is vital for the depiction the objects.
Colours for painting need to be diluted
Simply applying weak colours on paper and making thin layers of the colours that it is the basic technique of watercolour painting. This repetition of layering darkens the colour itself with keeping its colour transparency. More basically it can be said that too dense colours make living things unanimated like the surface of artificial materials, such as toys.
We had continued and reached our goals we set the two points regarding the steps of colouring. Portrait relief making was not an easy task but everyone achieved one’s objectives.
