本日は「色面で描く」を行いました。
色面で描く?とはなんぞや??

「色面で描く」のコンセプトは、そのままズバリ「描く対象を”色の平面”で構成して描く。」というものです。
デッサンのように、陰影をつけて”立体的に描く”のとは違って、立体物を”平面的に”描きます。
”浮世絵”のような感じを想像していただくといいかも知れませんね。
こちらは「猫」を描いた作品です。
折り紙を巧みに使って猫の目や耳などの細部も表現していますね。
「ここはこうやるんだよ。」という具合に子供たち同士が助け合って制作している姿は素敵です。
色画用紙で犬の顔、折り紙で犬のヒゲと厚さの違う紙を使ってそれぞれの質感を表現。
出来上がった作品は実験的なものから技巧的なものまで様々ですが、子供たち個人個人の個性が出ています。
またモチーフ(描く対象)選びの段階でも、子供たちの好みが出て面白いですね。
また来週も、楽しく美術と触れ合いたいと思います。

In today’s lesson, we had done Creating an image with the idea of colour face. What is the idea of that and how does it work on the creation of images???
The concept of this lesson is directly based on the idea of Japanese painting which interprets tridimensional objects around us as bidimensional ones to be painted in a manner of painting. Simply, it could be said things in the world can be flatter than their actual volumes in a space of the painting.
Observational drawing is based on the idea of depicting shapes of the objects how much of the depth these have. but this lesson focused on the idea of faces of the objects, not the depth. It could be perplexing so just please imagine Ukiyo-e which, in my opinion, gives you a clue of what I am saying about the lesson.
A cat painted in a manner of Ukiyo-e helps me to explain what we had done today.
Another cat, in turn, created by a child using Origami paper.
The child tried to express details of the cat such as ears and eyes even whiskers, which were very detailed and great.
Helping each other is another aspect of learning which assists learners to be successful learners.
She used several different thicknesses of paper to express different facial parts of a dog, in fact, its face and whiskers were distinguished successfully.
There was a range of work, such as technical and experimental, created by children and all of which was so unique. In the first step of this lesson, an object selection needed to get started was also showing the character of each child how she or he likes what to draw.
