The basic drawing by pencils with still life that has been commenced and it has equipped children with the basic skills and techniques of the drawing.
The basis of the drawing significantly contributes to building the concept of observational drawing which is to be a shared vision when children in the lesson see things they want to depict or form. This also helps the children to convey their visions and images to others in a way of drawing.
Each of the subjects was placed on the table, the subjects were predominantly rectilinear; toy bricks and a jar half-full of water, for instance.
All children focused to draw the subjects with concentration.
In the lesson, we used pencils sharpen as you can see in a picture above, it is prepared for drawing, not for writing.
In the usage of pencils for drawing, the pencils cannot be used as a usage of writing letters so that the pencils also are being held in a different form as the writing. Therefore, the way of sharpening is not the same as we use pencils for writing.
As you can see a holding form of a pencil, which is not standing up against the paper. In this sense, a variety of width of lines we can draw quickly and easily.
The drawings were finished and these were distinguished. We can feel some sort of tension in between the objects, in this case, a painting brush and a jar with half-full water, so this makes the drawing more firm as well as energetic.
The acquisition of the basic drawing is supposed to be a very long way to be accomplished although children felt their development through the comparison between their first tries of the drawing and the last ones. This is a really great reflection for everyone.
