ミニチュア水族館が完成しました。
海底に広がる色とりどりの生き物たちが再現された作品となりました。

今回の授業では２週にわたってミニチュア水族館を制作しました。
この課題は、2週課題で時間をかけて制作しました。
その分、作品の完成度は高く見応えのあるものとなりました。
紙粘土で作った海の生物はコンテナの中に配置。
その際に、手前・中間・奥と3つの大きな空間区分を考えながら配置しました。
また木炭デッサンは、モチーフ（描く対象）をより注意深く観察して形の狂い（モチーフと自分の絵の間の）を修正しながらデッサンの完成を目指しました。
完成した木炭デッサンは、本物のモチーフが持っている”手前から奥までの空間”を絵の中で再現することができました。
木炭デッサンを見た時に、何処が手前で何処が奥かを描き分けるのは高度な技術が必要でが、このデッサンはその点をしっかりと抑えています。
完成したミニチュア水族館は、どれも完成度のある素晴らしいものでした。
このクオリティーを出すことができる子どもたちに、本当に脱帽です。
今回も、素晴らしい作品ができました。

I proudly announce that miniature aquariums have been finished.
Ocean creatures, which children formed in this class, seem to live in a container which gives us the imagination of how these creatures are settling in the world where under the seawater.
In this lesson, a making miniature aquarium has been conducted through a 2-weeks task so that each aquarium’s quality is firmly good.
Variety of sea creatures, such as octopus, shells and jellyfishes, formed by air dry clay have been arrayed into a container to be a miniature aquarium. In this sense, the entire space of container can be divided into 3 parts as the front, middle and back regarding the sense of position.
Another important part of this lesson was a charcoal drawing which was conducted to strengthen the basic drawing skills. In this lesson, the objects of still life were carefully observed in order to be drawn which provided the better quality of the drawing.
There are spaces drawn in paper existing in between a subject and a subject of still life, we can feel such supaces visibuly. The drawing represented the depth of void space, like from the front to back, which the real subjects have, therefore we can see that. Technically speaking, high skills of the drawing are required to depict the depth of space that the subjects have where are the front and back because a piece of paper has virtually no depth on its surface. The variety of depth needs to be represented in a visual manner, not substantial. the drawing made in the class by a student reveals such depth so it is a quite skilful drawing.
Every miniature aquarium was also quite good quality, each child performed very well.
The lesson today was successfully conducted and every child attending the class was highly admired, I hope the next lesson is going to have lots of fun. See you soon.
