A3サイズのクッションは、子供たちの枕にピッタリ!
完成した枕、いやいや、クッションで早速、使い心地を確認。
また、振替授業で来てくれた生徒さんは一足先に版画課題”2018年の干支（戌）”を完成させてくれました。
縁起の良い”朱色”で刷られた作品は、幸運を運んで来てくれそうですね！

We have completed “Making Cushions.”
A3-size cushions made by children which perfectly fitted children’s heads. In other words, the cushions were thought to be best pillows in children’s bedrooms. As soon as the cushions were made children tried to use those as pillows on the floor. The cushions or these can be said as pillows which suited people who have a rest and relaxing time in everywhere else!?
We also had a printing work, which featured “Dog” as one of the twelve animal symbols in 2018. In the Asian context, people have a tradition of Animal Symbolism (12 animals), it came from China to Japan a long long time ago, that has been widely believed that one of the twelve animals (Rat, Ox, Tiger and so on) is given to people which depend on their birth years, such as in 2018 will be Dog. For instance, a person was born in 1979 when the animal was a Sheep. These animals are supposed to be guardians or angels in the Western context. If you need more information about this Animal Symbolism, you can google and get detailed information about that. So, back to a conversation about the lesson, a Dog printing was nice and cute, it was printed in bright red which is thought of as a fortunate colour in some Asian countries such as China and Japan. In 2018, the Dog printed will bring the happiness for everyone.
