It is already that the two seasons–sammer and autumn–have been overlapping and feeling time flies.

In a Monday Primary-Kids class, we conducted “the basic drawing by pencils” and it was successfully completed.

We experienced the basic drawing in the lesson last week although today’s class deferred from the contents of the class which we did last Monday. The subjects for the drawing are selected by different criteria of last week we employed, which focused on straight shapes and lines.  This year, today’s class, the subjects showed lots carved shapes and lines.

Children observed the subjects in a careful manner and they learned the way to draw a variety of lines. This way of drawing lines is particularly useful and practical for depicting plans and fruit as organic substances.

Some tips to make various lines when you do that is to draw a line with taking a breath in either out. You then generate a rhythm in a line you drew. This also beneficial in a case of drawing plants and other organic matters because these consist of a full of curving lines, like contours of human beings.

We also focused on the subjects’ shades and shadows to be depicted as real as possible. Shades and shadows which on the subjects are, sort of, evidential factors when audiences see the drawing how the person drawing the work deeply observed the objects. It also tells about the perception of the person.

There are drawings below we conducted in today’s lesson.

Each drawing conveys how each child felt and saw the objects, flower and fruit, in one’s manner, which is always unique anyway. The basic observational skills things around us are significant to any sorts of art making because the expression comes from a creator’s mind how and what one has received what by the things.

Today, we had had an enjoyable time to learn the basic drawing in the lesson, and we’re looking forward to having another lesson next week.
