7月17日(月)2017 本日よりアキヒロラボのターム3が始まりました。久しぶりに会った子供たちは、ちょっとだけ逞しくなっていました。そして、ターム3最初の授業は「ポスター」制作。テーマを決めて制作していきました。
テーマというと、あの”顔”を出して記念撮影をするパネルのアイデアを採用した「顔出しポスター」に決定！
各自、生き物、人などのキャラクターまた物など自分が好きなものをA3画用紙に描いていきました。その後にラミネートして、顔の部分はドアのように開閉式に切り出し顔を出せるようにしました。
亀、怪獣、人、アニメのキャラクターそして時計と、各々が自由に発想したものを描きました。
ターム2で学んだ水彩絵具についての技法、濃淡。子供たちの作品には、この技法が活かされていてます。水彩絵具で色を塗るに、濃淡を積極的に使うことができるようになり、絵の表情がより豊かになっています。
ターム3も、みんなで楽しく美術を学んでいきたいと思います！

Mon 17 Jul 2017 School holiday was finished and Term 3 has commenced while also kicking off Akihirolab’s term 3 today. I felt that children’s faces have become more mature when I met them in the last lesson of Term 2 that made me very happy and positive anyway.
Today, we created posters based on an idea of inserting a face in the hole board that can probably be seen places where holding festivals and events or at tourist resorts. The beginning of the lesson, I introduced such an idea that face coming upon the hole of picture board so children soon grasped it with giggles.
Each child chose what one likes, a turtle, monster, person, cartoon character and clock, for instance, each of which was drawn on A3 watercolour paper and then painted using water colour.
After water paints dried the paper got laminating done, and a hole for inserting face was cut, the hole itself was not fully separated to the paper it connected at one point like a door hinge.
I have noticed that children have acquired skills and techniques of watercolour were taught in Term2. These have been actively employed that made paintings more expressive. I love seeing the uniqueness in children’s works. I am very happy to see it is being underpinned by skills and have also gotten very motivated to teach new skills for children.
